This is the Manual of Style for Angry German Kid Wiki, please do not do any reorganization and cleanup of wikitext on the wiki unless you are fixing things to follow this style guideline.

Writing style

• Articles optionally can be written in future-tense, but if the action happened earlier or it is happening, it's recommended to write the following articles in past or present tense.
• Scripts should be written in an in-universe style, and not refer to the reader or viewer when talking about events.

WikiText style

• Headers should be in the form ==Header==, not the form == Header ==. This only applies to articles, image pages use == Summary == automatically and talkpages are free form and no changes should ever be made to header style.
• Things like Leonard Slikk and leonard slikk are pointless if the title looks almost identical to the matching page, only Leonard Slikk should be used.
• To avoid this mistake, correct it in source mode.
• Don't bypass redirects using things like Leopold Slikk, make use of the redirect properly with Leopold Slikk or Leopold.
• The first header must appear ONLY after the first information, NOT BEFORE IT!
• Shortened date formats can be optionally used in pages, however it shouldn't be used!

Common improper style changes

• Do not add last names to links unless you have a valid reason to do so (full character name has not been used earlier in the article). Full names should not be abused to bypass redirects.
• Do not change page numbers in ref tags to have a leading zero. Going around the wiki and changing 3 to 03 despite most pages sticking to 3 does not improve the wiki at all and just adds pointless edits, just stick with 3.
• Do not write the first letter of a character's name in lowercase. The first letter of a character's name should always be capitalized.
• Do not place punctuation inside the quotation marks. The correct placement is outside. Example: "AGK plays Unreal Tournament".
• When editing, do not use more than one question mark or exclamation point in a row. One is all that is ever needed.
• However, this doesn't apply to transcripts, quotes, comments and message walls.
• Do not use present tense in articles, unless you are referring to something that is happening in the present.
• Do not add captions to all images in gallery pages. (only some images should have captions)
• Do not use international native language spelling or grammar. As we mentioned in the GuidelinesAngry German Kid Wiki uses the english language. Just like the wiki, angry german kid parodist commonly make English/American parodies, so therefore American/British English spellings and grammar conventions should always be used.
